Being a huge Fanatic of the man himself... I am just so proud of him and this is great for the Trance scene which a lot of people have said is going down. I think Tiesto is def starting to break the barriers of music and now we Trance addicts are more international... so many people here in the states do not even know what Trance dis and they are so ignorant to what is going on musically around the world... now they are going to het a chance to step out of their box and hear the best dj international perform.... no more Tiesto who? It will be oh yeah TIESTO!!!!! As of late
I even hear his music in bwtn clips of MTV shows.

You can't be happy at the fact that we have the biggest possible audience to listen to EDM that we're probably ever going to have. And yes, Tiësto's one of the bigger name you guys have. PvD can't do everything. He's not Bugs Bunny playing baseball, ok?? Who would like to DJ that?? Some lesser known local German DJ? One of your friends? Please man. Give me a break and re-evaluate your opinion, little dude...

I disagree... Yes he has a few great tracks of late but for the rest he delivers recycled stuff with a few new synths and a new bassline. That's not what I call "break the barriers".

The best international DJ to me, is Dave Clarke. You may not like his music, but I sure do like it and his technique and how he gets the crowd moving. Not someting to be said of Tiesto who fails to get the crowd going at too many occasions.

That said, I am thrilled that we will be seeing a DJ with such high status in the Trance scene perform at what is indisputably one of the biggest events in the world. And Dave Clarke would not fit there, spinning Techno tracks at 140-160 bpm

lol you guys are nutz, as for my .02 i saw the man live and he was pretty good except he had like 3 trainwrecks. although that was at avalon and i heard one of the tables was messed up but i think its pretty cool that he's spinning for the olympics. i just hope that nbc plays the music and doesn't talk over it for the 2 hrs of the parade.
no gold medal though =)

In the beginning there was Jack. And Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And while one day viciously throwing down on his box Jack boldly declared "Let there be house!" And house music was born. I am the creator and this is my house and in my house there is only house music. But I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes our house and our house music and you see no one man owns house because house music is a universal language spoke and understood by all. You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house. House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body and as I told you before this is our house and our house music. In every house you understand, there is a keeper and in this house the keeper is Jack.

hey dont get me wrong... i really love tiesto.
i was at tic1 and i will go to tic2 also...

my alltime favorite liveset in my whole music collection is from him... he was the guy who took me with his earlier productions from (almost) mainstream to the rabbitholes of edm
the magik series playlist is like my wholy bible and only gets a doubleclick in some very special moment...

i made several shirts for me with tiesto content etc etc

the point is that i cant find the tiesto anymore that he was without the overhyped fame. ofcourse... still his sets take the masses on fire... but its kinda all without this special "magik" anymore u know?

Ok, as we all know, the anonymity of the internet can lead some people to become lackadaisacal when expressing opinion. And sometimes, posting with laziness can make people look absentminded, immature, and arrogant. Such is the case with our subject, Bloodflower, showcasing all 3 symptons with this enlightening post in which I just quoted.

So in response:

You are one in the long line of what we in America call "playa-hataz". What you've just displayed is a classic case of playa hatin'. To use your anology, if you don't care what color my sun is, then why take a 50 caliber Desert Eagle to anyone who says their sun is bright yellow? You should know that you'll be questioned about it, so why then do you need to arrogantly blow it off as if you're being bothered? If you don't find a need to declare yourself, then shut the flying fuck up.
