I was quite disappointed with "Come Around Again" with all the guitars and what not - so I was pleased with this new subtle release.
The melody is nice and simple - the breakdown gorgeous! Only thing I didnt really like is that "Above & Beyond" sound, that generic bassline? Hopefully, they won't add any vocals on the proper release.
Will definetly get this when it comes out!

Found it boring & generic. No way near as energetic & anthemic as Push Through... may just be my evolving tastes but it seemed to just drag on :-/

Is it just me or do certain tracks fade away in interest instead of growth on it? This tune is a prime example.

This is the kind of tune that you forget how it goes after it ends. Boring and generic.

Haha yep... I had to retrieve it from the recycle bin & listen again with all the praise it was getting. Was still shit, went back in

Every build is huge on a big system, that's hardly a mark of a good track.

But then most EDM tracks are made first and foremost to be played on a big system. So if it sounds good on one, it's kinda done it's job.

well yeah, but then you have tracks that are bigger than others, if you know what i mean.. and i'm not talking about the amount of release on the synths or whatever. that bassline really lifts you up.. the combination with that main lead and its synths works so well.

but there's no point in arguing really, it's all about taste, and feeling.. and the feeling i get when this track is played out is immense.

Well to be fair you said the same about Tiesto's Adagio did you not?

Agree with this definitely. Main case in point for this year would be Whiteroom - Whiteroom. Found it weak & boring on headphones, but in a club it's really powerful & sounds great. Same goes for Tiesto - Adagio for Strings... both of them blow the roof off.

This track could fit in with that category too I guess, but I wouldn't know having not heard it out. I know how you mean though.

Yes, but it works for home for me too... This, on the other hand, is a tune that only works live which is hardly a mark of a good track...
