This is the kind of story that, no matter how many times you decide to tell it in the future, never gets old. I laughed harder at this than pretty much anything else I've read on TA so far this summer...
...mostly because I've done roughly the same thing.
About two years ago, I was in a hurry to get dressed, because I was running late for work. It was pouring outside and really cold, so I decided to put on a sweatshirt. My arm got stuck in the sleeve, and I just kind of pushed. The armpit on the shirt ripped, my fist shot straight up into the air above me, and I pwned the light fixture in our living room. Broke the enclosure, frame, bulb, and mounting brackets. Somehow, I managed not to cut myself, but it ended up costing about $80 to fix.
