Come on man give me a break.
a. Good question or bad question that was the most retarded answer i have ever heard. I really really do think i could have answered it better. Someone here was right, i think most people would just have said (if they didnt understand the fairly straighforward question as bush didnt) I am sorry i dont understand the question... Simple. I am sorry, I dont understand the question.....
b. He isnt 99.9% of us. He is the leader of the most powerful country in the world. He is supposedly the most powerful man in the world. 280 million people, 280 million educated people in the country and that was the man they felt best could lead them. 280 million people and not one could give their opinion on Native American's rights for sovereignty? Hes not even asking for a solution, hes just asking for his opinion with this question.
c. If you don't understand the question here is what he basically asked: a. What is your opinion of Native American's rights to sovereignty. b. How do we resolve, how do you propose to resolve differences between tribes, their government entities and the other traditional ones.
Is that really confusing? Is that really something most people in the president of the united state's position can't answer? He's supposed to make complex decisions about the American economy, forge relationships with foreign diplomats and dignitaries, quell tense situations with potentially dangerous rogue states (iran, n korea) but he cant answer a simple question about native american's rights? And you are defending that. What happens if Iran does build a nuclear weapon. And the fate of the country is in your presidents negociating hands. You would put your safety, your family's safety in the hands of a man who isnt even able to give an opinion about the sovereignty of native americans.
280 million supposedly intelligent and educated people and thats who they vote. Unbelievable. Really, really looks awful on the american people.
