Just heard both the tunes...incredible stuff !!!

Both tunes are fucking ace...out of our lives is the more energetic of the two but tears of joy is my fav. Very emotional with the typical push variations. Magical journey.

One massive release !

tranz said it best, nothing really groundbreaking here. I mean it's a great production and very good track but I wouldn't even think about buying this vinyl when I could buy 50 others that are almost exactly like it.

Out of Our Lives 8/10

Out of Our Lives is very unique. Unlike the standard trance tunes with the snareroll buildup, uncreative melodies, etc. This tune stands out from the pack. The melody, synth lines, and and progression are imo unique and orginal.

Out of Our Lives slowly progesses into something beautiful, that imo is the elegance of this track. there is no massive breakdown but rather very subtle changes until the main melody hits you. This is not a standard trance form. The melody, bassline and synths are also unique.

THB this and a few more trance tunes these last few months have been making my list. I fail to see how you can say other better trance tunes exist. This is not your typical ASOT fluff.

BTW if this was a generic tune you wouldnt be hearing all the trance DJ's ( including myself) beat the shit out of it.

I wish more trance tune did exist like this but unfortunely I havent found many.

Excellent Work.

9/10

I still love this awesome tune, haven't really listened to the b-side... although I have it on 12". I remember how much I loved The Search For Freedom, so normally I would have said I liked that one the most. But it took 6 months for it to get released and I got fed up of it. Out Of Our Lives isn't so easy to get sick of (I think, time will show). Such a nice tune with a magical buildup and which progresses into a banging tune which I'm sure has destroyed many dancefloors across the world latelly.

Keep up the good work Mike, you've had a great year! You too Fred

Better trance tunes do exist, because I like them better then this track and of course it's not ASOT fluff, it's on Captavating which generally releases tracks with a different sound them ASOT.

I will retract my statements as I can not find a lot of tracks that do sound alot like this(I don't know what I was thinking) but I will say they're a few tracks I like better then this that have come out this year.
