Getting back on topic...

As a guess, I'm going to say that the 29th is not an official TiC. I'd say it's some sort of pre-party, perhaps with Blackhole folk or something. Why?

- Sleep. To perform two all-nighters in a row, one would want an adequate amount of sleep, and I think it's pretty safe to say Tijs would feel the same way.

- Track variety. Last year, there were 80 tunes altogether. Tiësto would have to provide a variety of tunes for both nights. That's approximately 160 tunes, most of which must be different for the many people that will probably attend both nights, and those of us at home listening over the internet.

Like I said... I don't think Tijs will be doing both nights.

Well I think both nights will be about 99% the same, just like a 'real' Concert. Same shows, same tracks.

For the people who go, I even think the Friday will be better because Saturday he will probably be pretty tired, and Saturday morning you will probably be able to read the tracklist and all the other details on the net, which will spoil pretty much everything.

Thanks for proving my point.

There's no way he can sell-out a stadium for two nights in a row, and knowing Tijs, he'd sleep, and would rather want to add some variety to his set the next night instead of playing the same old tracks (I know some of you anti-Tiësto bunch will argue this to sin, though).

Doesn't he always play the same tracks anyway

I think 2 nights is alot, but I think both nights will be sold out, one of them probably already today.

Well apparently there is a way Within one hour (maybe even half an hour) both concerts were sold out.

Mentioning DJ Tiesto, in a jaggedly negative, REDUNDANT context... will just bring more attention to him, earning him more fans with the resulting publicity.

A curious n00b (and I mean that in the best of ways) might go: "Tiesto? Who? Who is this guy?" and then check out his mixes and find they're really enjoyable. Imploding psychology of human beings points the way to controversy selling. People have strong reactions to the hot and the cold and the polarization excites them and piques interest.

So, a repetitive Tiesto, or [insert other DJ/producer name here]-basher should ask himself or herself gently: "Is this what I want?" And if not, please consider focusing on praising what you like instead of tearing down other people's loves...

Whoever goes to this, I hope you have a great time at the show.

Tickets at the ticketbox sales points are 'sold out'. There will still be tickets available later today at ticketbox.nl (so it says on their website)

I think the reason the tickets are sold out so quick is because every shop with a ticketbox is just printing out tickets like crazy untill it's sold out. Alot of them still will have alot of tickets left which they already printed out.

Altho this isnt really Tijs' doing. ID&T are yet again exploiting him to the extreme - and not telling us it was on two days until 6 days (it was on Mystery Land) before the pre-sale is just cruel for internationals who've got their plane tickets already for the Saturday one.

Could also be that id-t was wainting to the permit for friday was approved. A big party like this two days in a row in the same venue is never been done so i think they had two wait for the local goverments.

Choreographed dance shows are all well and nice, but in the end all of these bells and whistles are just icing on the the proverbial cake.

very good point. the set is the most important thing of the evening. Last year the show was great but his set lacked some speed halfway through. But the atmosphere in the gelredome was really special, that's why everyone had a brilliant time.

Anyway I have a ticket for saturday and it is going to be a special and great night again!
