I dont know where to start in how fcuked up this thread is. I mean, isnt it blatantly obvious that the US is responsible for the vast majority of terrorist acts in recent decades?? Causing far more deaths and destruction than anything that happened on the 11th of September. Where do you start?!

The only reason why the pro-American's on this board cant see this is because it's done quite discretely, behind the eyes of the media. But there's no doubt that it's there.

Remember, these terrorist acts against the US and its allies etc etc are merely a retaliation to past actions by Americans.

Racism in this thread is rife. I suggest you step back and start thinking outside the squares you live in, because hey... you reap what you sow (and isnt that oh so true, america)

I only assumed that it would have been construed that way as my post was dripping with sarcasm.

maybe you can say that about terror now inside iraq,
but what acts that caused death and destruction lead to 9/11?

Being an Israeli you would probably know the close link between your people and the US. At times this link is extremely close.. nothing new here..

We all know that extreme Islamist have some problems with the people of Jewish faith and their country, and from this they're obviously going to form their own opinions on the US in light of their relationship with Israel. This would be the most obvious response from me after seeing your place of residence.

Okay, that being said my argument should be set in concrete, but I'm not easily satisfied with such simple responses
Secondly, with all due respect, the events on the 11th of September were (unfortunately) greeted with joy across many parts of the world. Where you ask? Every country in the americas, except the US and Canada, for one (i'm talking about Central and South America). Many countries in Europe, including countries of the Balkans and the former Soviet states also have a problem with the US. Now lets not also mention countries of Asia and Asia minor. And how about Africa, countries like Somalia for one.

There are reasons for the worlds hatred of the US. There really does have to be a problem, somewhere along the line, when you have people on every continent hate you.

To generalise a little, lets blame the majority of this problem on the US foreign policy over the last 50-60 years. Very general, I know, but there's your problem. I mean, even you have come and admitted that US foreign policy has caused obvious problems in Iraq, and it is definately not the first time the US has made such mistakes.

go to the your little statistical data from your little country and post the amount of "terrorist" attacks the US has done

Like I said when the world comes to me and says the US has committed X number of terrorist attacks then come talk....otherwise your statements are meaningless

If we are "pro" american...what makes you not anti-american

Relax it up with the flaming mate.

One quick quote which i'm sure you've heard of before. Terrorism, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. So asking for "terrorist" attack statistics is merely going to give you someones bullshti subjective opinion.

My subjective opinion on what is terrorism? My example would be when the US flew their armies into my homeland on March 24 in 1999. And if you dont know what country I'm talking about, then it just shows your ignorance to the world outside of the US. Not that you would care or anything.

Regarding your comments on this supposed "post-911 party" I'm not even going to lower myself to such immaturity.

Yea but to use U.S. foreign policy to justify a hostage massacre in Russia or beheading of Nepalese people....is absurd
In my eyes thats terrorism.

Oh well..good day

and sorry being a friend of Israel, doesnt mean that

you say all around the world people hate USA, but you didnt answered my question: what acts of death and destruction lead to 9/11?

cause people can hate US for many other reasons, for being a huge cristian power, or being a huge succesful democracy, rich and stuff you know what i mean...

it all boils down to a severe epistemic difference in defining terrorism. speedracer-bot will never acknowledge that terrorism can be commited by anyone but small groups of muslims with limited resources. he's just following the bully/pimp mentaal of the current american foriegn policy: if a group is not large enough to exhibit a markable threat on our country, yet can offensively act against us, they're terrorists.

it falls under that chickenhawk rationale of the necessity of the pre-emptive strike of Iraq. "they could eventually become a threat." but when questioning the same people regarding north korea, you get something like "we can't envade, because they are a threat". we carry the most technologically advanced military in the world, yet we will never attack anyone that can't be classified as easy pickings.

the american public isn't capable of judging ourselves, because we can't fathom the possibility that "smart missles" and tanks are instruments of terror. if this thousand year reich doesn't last four more years, how will history judge us?

It is a small comfort to know that these same fearfuls that support bush will be classified along side the racists who were against segregation. Remember the anti-american outcry when mohommad ali refused to go to vietnam? "No Viet-cong ever called me a ******". Hell, even the poll numbers are the same.

It's a thirty year shift back to nixonian politics, i'm just waiting for these criminals to get busted. [/editorial]
