Well, while I do agree that a large scale immigration that is happening these days is a partially destroying the current cultural identity of Europe, it's difficult to say at this current time whether that is a good or a bad thing. Whatever the future will bring, large scale immigration in Europe is necessarry because of the generally low birth rates, especially in Italy. Without a large work force influx from the surrounding countries, Italian economy would quickly break down because of a disproportional ratio of old vs young people. So untill the governments in Europe find a way to encourage people into multiplying faster, I don't think there's any other solution to keep the society functioning other than allowing large masses of immigrants to get in. At least until we're able to design robots capable of performing most human actions.

Simple solution: Europeans should have more children, at least three per family.

Immigration itself it not the problem: there's nothing wrong with a few thousand per year. What's going on now is not immigration, but invasion... there are millions of them.... and that's not right. The invasion should be stopped today and foreigners encouraged to go home (with money).

I won't disagree with that statement, but it's a good point to ask whether that's a good thing. In the suburbs of Paris, "diversity" means Muslim honor killings and gang raping of the "infidels." In Malmö, you have areas of the city with quasi-Islamic law. Diversity is interesting to some degree, but there's a point at which you will come to a clash of incompatible cultures.
