I donno. So far 21 grams is the most scariest movie I have seen. Seems hard to beat. It was more scary in a emotionally, spiritually distrubing kind of way. Not to mention I saw it all messed up on a heavy duty psycadelic, that movie has scarred me for life.

nothing jumps out at you.. no loud noises and scary music.
Just pure terror. Monsters and ghosts and shit aren't scary.. but the potential of the human mind is, and that's what this movie explores.
enjoy!

Correction:
Sam Rami only Exectuive Produced the movie. Producer's supply money and get distributers (and sometimes have a say or suggestions since it's their money). They don't make film's.
The Director makes the film. In this case the director is "Takashi Shimizu".

scariest movie i think i've ever seen has to be the ring...the original japanese version. after watching it...i did not want to own a tv in my room. and for as long as i live, i will never buy an oval shaped mirror or go anywhere close to a well...nevermind climbing into one....wut deranged people...
in my opinion, the american hollywood version doesn't do justice to the original. it might just be a cultural thing...or jus a hollywood thing...but it lost a lot of its scariness.
