i dunno, but in regards to what i said early, i think this is a somewhat pointless topic, because it just looks like you're trying to get confidence with us agreeing with you and bashing them.

wow high school...damn, well that explains it.

don't be so easily offended...geez...i hate ppl like you as much as i hate boneheads in highschool that no shit...theres nothing more annoying then someone who wants attention for being right when someone said something stupid. i found the whole reason for the topic to be somewhat sad...if this was a 4th year law class with ppl opinions that actually mattered, then maybe it'd be worth mentioning.

realize this...in highschool, ppl aren't necessarily stupid (although lots are) but are uneducated, and still have a lot to learn. and unless they're dealing with the field they have some background studying, they might jump to irrational conclusions that don't make sense.

oh well, lesson learned for next time i hope...and to all you highschool students...remember, you could be having much worse problems.

hey guys
thanks for the input. i'm the girlfirend in the anecdote and i've decided to stay with law. it something i'm planing on going into and i can't let a bunch of preppy niave highschoolers piss me off. my goal is to get the highest mark in the class, which is very doable (i had a test on the philosophy and aced it while 1/2 the class failed). so thanks again.
