I wouldnt worry about missing techno at the beginning. If i recall correctly, he started out pretty lounge last time, and evolved into a more tribal house feel shortly there after.

danny is anything but a prog dj. I was @ boa from 2 am to 2 pm when he finished, and out of the bezzilian tracks he played, maybe 5 were prog.

He plays absolutely everything and anything. From 7-11 it was straight techno. All the rest it was a great mix of house, with heavy doses of tribal. One of my favorite tracks of the night was when he droped Phil K.'s I love you, it was early in the night but it set the mood right. Is that prog btw

Dont worry about what he is going to play, because you will be blow away at how a dj can blend so many styles so gracefully.

Have fun to all,

Reza

Ummm, who exactly asked for your opinion, huh ? The roll call certainly doesn't need you flapping your mouth about a Man you know nothing about...do yourself a favor and go back to using your lips for the purpose they were intended, firmly placed and puckered up on that dutch cheese lover Tiesto's ass.

This goes out to all the kids who talk smack...Next time you feel like voicing an opinion on topics you know nothing about...close your eyes, raise your arms in the air, and get washed away on an epic wave of STFU -- k. Now run along.

Back to more important matters...I'll be there to pay tribute to the Messiah.

oh man I think I shed a tear on that one... I hate to clutter up a roll call but this one needs to be quoted. Several times.

Me + at least 2 (Allegory and Curious George), + maybe a third

I'm a techno lover, but the experience Danny created at Boa on Canada Day made an awed believer of me...

Yeah, I'd like to add on what has been said about Danny being "boring" or "prog".

I really like trance, don't get me wrong. In fact, I think I was probably one of the few people to go to Cream and be super-excited to see Ferry Corsten... Thought that sentiment wasn't really felt in the Bell Centre by the rest of the crowd, that doesn't mean they're all idiots and don't know good music.

If anything, Danny's performance in July was probably one of the best parties I have ever been to? As Sly_Guy knows, I can barely last during a Lawler set @ System because I'm not the biggest fan of house/tribal but I lasted from 12:30am - 2pm without leaving Boa!

But for those who have cut up Danny and have NEVER seen him, perhaps you should see what everyone is talking about. He's not just a DJ, he interacts with the crowd because he gives a shit and likes the fact that people enjoy his company. Sure, AvB is all smiles and has his hands in the air, but Danny will go out on the floor and talk to you!

If you heard a remix of "Layla" by Cream in a club, would you not go nuts?!
