I have a problem too...I save the game but then i can't load it...(the load last game option isn't lighted)

You probably will need the pirated CD cracked. the loading part is probably due to the location where you saved it is different then the loading location.
Also I have a mac and cant download the patches

It gives me only one location to save it-------> "[][][][][][][][][]"
I save it there and then where does this save go?

Well to sort out this problem i suggest you buy a legit copy.
