omg ur so clevAr!!!11 min wage is min wage, regardless of currency exchange its not too far from $8 in both countries. and id be more concerned with your countries debt than our economy, we're less than 1/10th the population with a little greater than 1/6th the economy, so we're doin alrite.

$8 per hour is really good money. I'm not sure if you meant this in canadian equivalence, but everywhere I've lived, min. wage is $5.15 per hour...

If we're talking National Debt, keep in mind that MOST of the US Debt is actually owed TO its citizens. Savings bonds, war bonds, etc...Of course, Canada has never needed war bonds

I keed, I keed!

its all good halcyon, i thought our min wages were the same with our respective currencies. but yea, the avg canadian min wage is is $7.00/hr an hr, with Ontario being $7.15/hr so i was wrong with the near $8 estimate, BC and Quebec get much better...

$8 per hour is $16,640 per year. Poverty. $5.15 only nets $10,712. Low poverty. $10 is only $20,800. Mid level poverty. Not much to live on. Hope you have greater aspirations in life. Need to figure out how to get at least a $50G per year level to live comfortably. Been there about 20 years ago. Of course raking in much higher these days...
