well it's not bad but the synths are a bit bland and need a bit more variety (try some harder cutting synths interspersed).Yeah and you need to do some work on the baseline too as at present it's mediocre. But work on those and it's got potential

i agree with this but i didnt want to say anything before, the bassline can definitely be improved/more exciting. dont settle, keep tweaking and you'll soon have a monster hit on your hands gil

its almost there

Yeah i've been thinking about the bassline too
I might be getting a new, more powerful, computer soon and If I will, i'll work on it because at my current resources there isn't any way I could reload the track

Thanks for the honesty tho

By the way, Energy or whoever it was that gave me the PvD website...
I've got a response from the site's crew and they said they loved the track but they are busy so they can't handle it now.

I listened to your track.....It has good production. But I did have several problems with it.

1.The panning at the start sounds amateurish.
2.The bassline is very weak
3.Its too repetitive

Let me explain a bit more...

By #1 above I mean it sounds completely overkill and goes on way too long. The later panning is good, but the first time it happens I think it sounds too muddy and crowds the mix.

As for #2...I personally think this brings the track down. If the bassline was bit more complex maybe it would sound better?

Okay...as for #3...I realise trance is supposed to have some repetition, but it needs to be more melodious and catchy if you gonna keep repeating the riff.

I wouldnt buy this because to me, its too cliche - As I have seen it termed on this site before "cookie cutter trance"

Sorry bud - your faithless remix was much better.

hm that's some good dissection there, but to be honest i like this MUCH more than the faithless, i really didnt care for that (sorry gil)

that one sounded like the melody just copied... i dunno..

KEEP WORKING THOUGH

our constant criticism only means we (starting to?) now view you as a professional producer!

hehe

e.g. all the bashing that goes on these baords

Yeah guys,
I just got a new computer, a much stronger computer with WinXP installed and some other cool features so now it'll be easier for me to work on that track coz it will load it faster etc...

I really appriciate all of your suggestions and i'm gonna take them under heavy consideration, i'm not gonna change the melodies but the basslines will be much stronger for sure and so are the bassdrums...

Thanks for your comments and keep 'em coming
