but in all honesty, by using crap equipment... your not really going to progress anywhere especially if you wanna be a "better" dj.
yes prominent djs make money through producing, but they didnt start producing on a kmart tape recorder stealing melodies from pop songs on ugly phils top 30.
they would've made a few sacrifices in order to get some sort of decent equipment where mix tapes would at least sound half decent.
and yes soups your hearing this from a professional. if i had 3 kids to feed i wouldnt be wasting money a very expensive hobby. buy your kids some tonka products. im sure that would bring you alot more happiness than a new mixer |
I'm buying a $200 set...
It will have these:
1 mike,
-CD, Cd/R/ CD +G
- Top loading Dual CDs
-Scratch pad, and 6 sound effects
- Pitch adjustment
-echo/balance
-2 speakers with high output
-2 Mike inputs
Fuck you all... and God Bless K-mart
It's all i can afford, and I'm a beginner.... I'm also getting kicked out of home
I'm a little confused... do DJs just use a beat indicator to line up their beats, or do they use their headphones to [lay around with the sounds (like 5 minutes ahead of what's playing now), and then "confirm" what they want...
because if u think about it, u can use special effects to do a transition between tracks... like take for exmaple if i wanted to do a transition to DJ -Tiesto, walking on clouds, and I wanted to enter ont hat bit where Tijs uses synths, and changes their pitch (Kinda loud and annoying), this is near the start of thetrack, would it be possible for me to use a high-pitch sound effect, adn then all the sudden switch tracks to that very part.....
