Hey Lunatic, have you tried simply deleting the snare channel that's making noise?

Are you sure it isnt the "metronome"? (im just guessing with the metronome part, 'cause in the old flp versions it sounds like a CHH, now it sounds like a RS)
If deleting the snare channel doesnt work, look for a module on the top window bar thing that has "Auto" snap on it, and 4 buttons: 3 of them should have piano things on them, and one should look like a metronome. (or a swinging mic).. Disable the swinging mic button, that will get rid of the metronome.

Hope one of these solves the problem.
Cheers,

chrisL

I like the TS 404, you gotta tune it well though before you find anything descent, ur right though it aint all too flexable, but still give us a link to those soft synth progs or pluggins and I'll download it, my Korg is out of its league these days and Im using my yahmaha for almost everything :/

Well, I don't think you can change it like that (maybe I'm wrong)...
Try using 'velocity' and 'duration' of each bar to achieve the effects you want.

It`s really simple:

-double klick on the long one
-you will get a display
-then twist the numbers on the lowest number thing (i dunno how its called )
-to half it, you got to set it to 0.12 I believe (could be wrong, gotta try)

then its good

you can make some neat drum things with this! try the snares!

greetz,

DJ Mantis

Read This! ...

I think you guys need to sit down and read through the entire content/help file in fruity loops. You will learn a lot and will be able to use Fruitylps with ease. A lot of the questions being asked (eg: like DaveC's ) are explained clearly in the help file.
