Democrat's biggest problem with John Kerry was that for all his intelligence, he was very inaccessible to the layman. Quite aloof for a democrat and reminded me of Bob Dole at times. His smartest move, in my opinion, was to have John EDWARDS`as his running mate.

EDWARDS 08? Would like to see it.

Just because they scored more runs than the Cardinals does not mean they really won anything. They should reach out to the St. Louis team and offer them part of any trophy they received. Just winning the games does not give them any mandate to have parades and act like they are champions.

I think it's a great idea. I supported Dean until he lost in the primary and got to see him speak a few times during his campaign, though I got too drunk at a fundraiser one time and made a horrible attempt totalk policy with him.

He was talking way back in the primary about how he wanted to win votes in the South by talking to people in states like Mississippi and Arkansas about what their interests really are. Many progressive ideas are perceived to be aimed at helping poor people in cities, but many of the poorest states are in the South. He wanted to talk about civil rights head on, which has never been tried before in the South since it turned Republican over the issue. Dean and Carville should run the party.
