One excellent piece of advice I got for getting over someone is this:

Write down the 5 or 10 things about your ex that really bother you, turn you off or that you annoyed you. And carry that piece of paper with those things around with you wherever you go.

Whenever you think of her, or get reminded or her pull the piece of paper out and have a read. At first you might feel silly, but soon you will change your mental thinking patterns so that whenever you do think of her you won't get down, in fact you might even get a positive feeling.

that`s exactly what i`m tryin`....trying to feel better and get on with my life...but too many things remind me of her...and i can`t just put them in one box and throw it off a bridge...anyways 10x again ppl for posting here and i`ll try to follow your advices and i`ll post here until this feeling is killed..

did you go through a shock state??? like where you don't even accept that it really happened and she'll come back to you

cuz it happened to me recently, we ended up talking things over and we're together again, but for a day i was just in complete shock that it even happened at all

why get even if nothing harmful was done to hurt you?
theres no reason to get even with someone for any reason really..
its a waste..Anyway, best way to cope with a break up is move on..
hard as you can....but try..music...meditation...friends....just do it..and the best is to
talk with someone who is mature enough to understand....even if you xant to ask for advice here..as silly as it sounds..it just might work for you..
but never turno to hatred..its a waste of your energy and anyone elses..

un roman pe tranceaddict. marfa...o sa zic in engleza ca sa nu se supere si restu . I`m at the point where even if i hear all kinds of things like : move on, live your life...and so on i feal like too difficult , too hard to do so...i try but even when i feal like i`ve succeded i`m right back in the dumps. i know this is the way it should be, for instance you ppl know the track : Unkle - Back and forth? these lyrics are very representative and sadly they are true...cheers!
