i find tribe to be the more active board as far as messages being posted and commented on however i definately find tranceaddict to be the more personal and welcoming board...

I've been on tribe since 2000 and it was funny because back then trance discussions were still pretty active - the board has changed quite a bit since then though.

The snobbery/jaded raver attitude seems to have increased - however everyone I've met in person from Tribe was cool, some just go overboard with their online personas so they seem like absolute twats...

I don't mind it, as I know a handful of people there that are heavy into different scenes now (prog/techno/breaks) but I still remember seeing raving it up with glowsticks/toys et al at the big Trance parties of 99.

To each their own - tribe has some interesting discussions - once you cut through the inside jokes.

Hey....I still like trance. So I guess that means Trance isn't dead. I'm sure Tiesto and Corsten will be relieved to know this.

Neways, anyone who turns their back on Trance and/or puts it down....just don't know how to respect any music.

You'll find all kinds of hypocrits in the forum world...let's just hope their character trait doesn't rub off on us in a few years.
