Take the $600, play the top40 garbage, and put that money towards DJing(in your own style of course), i.e. buy a bunch of vinyls, a cheap cd deck, a 3rd tt, new mixer, etc.

take it and play some ATRC, tiesto (just be album) and do some scratching of "fwoep-fwoep-fwoep-fwoep" , you know the backspinning of a track

+1, if you can scratch at least 4 or 5 times during the set, they are most likely to give you moe money and hire you for more of their high school parties and you could become the new Armin
