i guess it is all right if she is the first female named for the coveted global underground mix cds .. who else would be better to represent the female dj trance/house side than sandra collins ? if the gu would want to choose a female dj to represent them, my pick would be sandra collins.

Bogota would probably be better than Las Vegas.

You're forgetting that that TL is 3 months old. She played Guy Gerber - Stoppage Time before Dave Seaman did on his EM for instance.
And GU has never been "innovative". At least to me it's just a solid mix cd with good music on it, or used to be.

Also, Nick Warren said that GU Reykjavik would be his last mixcd ever, so I doubt that he's the one up for it this time.

That tracklist (dunno where Jan got it) may have been from a year ago or so, when the tunes were still fresh. It just proves that Sandra Collins plays music that would appeal to a great deal of people on this board, even though I've seen quite a few people slating her in this thread.

that tracklisting is from her EM from a few months ago, and i definatly enjoyed her set, it was different, and had a unique feel to it, even if the individual tracks werent unique.

as set is much more than just the tracks which are played.

i think sandra is absolutly great! Tranceport 3 was enjoyable, as are the few live sets i have from her. And if she came out with a GU i would pick it up for sure.

but judging by what Nick Warren is doing this year, i would rather have one by him! his sets this year...
