Before the hurricanes hit, I lived in Florida for about the past five years, Winter Park (Near Orlando, Playboy called it "Beverly Hills of the South") to be specific. It's a place where I don't doubt that the houses cost way over 500,000 (I lived in an apartment though). I thought that the houses more likely to be damaged though were cheaper ones and mobil homes, which Florida has TONS of. Do you know of a website where I could check these numbers out? I wasn't there for the hurricanes and honestly followed them little when they occured (I was out of the country with little TV and internet access)? I wouldn't ask, but I tried to google, "HURRICANE CHARLIE DAMAGE FLORIDA STATISTICS" and really couldn't find much in the way of specifics. If you could refer me to a site I would appreciate it.
Peace,
Twoces
