Whiteroom - The White Room wins with 140 votes
Randy Katana - In Silence in second with 139 votes
Tilt - The World Doesn't Know in third place with 99 votes

Nice top 3 if you ask me...

So this is wrong huh? Well then, congrats Katana and the rest!

The only explanation I can think of is that the polls are manipulated. I mean at first they tried to modify the nominations according to their "taste". This, added to the fact that the "heats" are simply another way of manipulation, makes you think it wouldn't be rare if the polls are also manipulated.

Well, the only explanation I can think of is that you are bitter that your favourite track didn't win. To suggest that the nominations have been modified is a massive insult considering the amount of time and effort I put into counting and correlating all the votes. So what you can do is go to that thread yourself, count up all 1300+ nominations, and then come back and apologise when you realise it's fair.

And to say it shouldn't be in the Top 40. Well you are wrong there too as it received 25 nominations which was more than enough to see it through.

So enough of your whiney allegations. Sit down and shut up.

Hear hear!!!!!

Don't worry Joe/Coup/Ian, the vast (and might i say overwhelming) majority of people here realise the amount of work that went into toty was huge, and are truly appreciative of it.
The fact that one person/cretin/(insert own insult here)* doesnt get his own way and so decides to go spilling his toys out of his pram and onto the floor below is something thats always going to happen, and so instead of any angry rebukes lets just all take a moment to sit down, be quiet....and pity him.

Its good to be an animal on the loose (i think... )but as far as mayo goes, i believe that instead of a food, it is actually the spunk of the devil....

On a lighter, and presumably less vomit-inducing note, its good to recognised, appreciated, and recieved with such adulation.

And for the records with regards to Ians mayo fetish, its MEN he likes, not women....i believe animals take preference too.....I'm dead arent i???

master:

i cant be arsed to write long so here is the short of it: ian decided to try a different approach to the nominations and ultimately made a mess of it. instead of going with the flow to save embarrasment, i pulled the plug, and all the nominations were re-counted in accordance to what the people voted for. the nominated tracks, were what the people voted for, regardless what u think to the list.

nor the heats, nor the poll figures were edited by me, not unless i had a PM from a user saying they voted for a track by mistake and wanted their vote switching. really, my life has more to it than to jack off to fixing track of the year so whiteroom wins and not in silence.

and the new suggestions to the track of the year thread was made, and is lost on page 3+ in MD, if u wish to post ur idea, or just generally moan like u normally do, go search for it.
