Talking about "Homework", am I the only one whose favourite tracks are "High Fidelity" and "Ingo Silver Club"?

Am I the only person who thinks that the fake/demo/prerelease track on ishkurs site is still better than all of the tracks on the actual album?

Rollin' & Scratchin' was the greatest song ever. There was some mix of it in 'tomcraft - live at trance energy 02.15.03' Actually I think it's the original with a couple new hihats thrown on top, I don't remember hearing it in any other livesets though.
Oh and I've heard a few tracks off this new album and I am very disappointed with what I've heard.

I heard Daft Punk playing it live in a videoclip and they did play it with one or two other tracks in the background... it was amazing.

I saw it on the telly
If I'm not mistaken that's either the official videoclip of "rock'n'roll" or "Rollin' & Scratchin'", probably the latter.

This album is absolutely brilliant. Bangalter and Guy-man yet again succeed in pushing the boundaries of electronic music forward. It's so different from Homework and Discovery, but still so Daft Punk!

i have always liked what daft punk has created, this is no different. some highs and lows of the album for me:
+
i luv the opening track, "human after all". this is my favourite track on the whole album. it is very funky and is a perfect opener to the album. my other 2 favourites are the slower, more chillout tracks on the album: "make love" and "emotion". "make love" has a cool little rift that is stuck in my head. "emotion" is a nice dreamy and gentle track to take the album out with.
-
some of the other tracks i found to be a bit repetitious and there wasn't really anything exciting or unique about them. one of the tracks i liked the least is "steam machine". it seems like the same loop over and over for the whole duration of the song. a couple of the other tracks are like this too.
all in all, its a decent album. is it the best they've done? no, definitly not. lets just hope it doesn't take them so long to make another album!
reviving the thread, because i was just listeing to old daft punk, and holy shit they are fucking good. why did those assholes only spend 6 weeks on that latest CD. what a fucking waste of time. im writing them an email, and telling them to spend more time and be more creative on teh next one, not like they give a shit but it would make me feel better.
LIKE WTF IS THIS http://daftpunk.com/ watch that shit and lol. wheres the cool anime ( only anime i ever enjoyed) they really took their skills and pooped on them then put it on a cd and burned copies. fuck im mad.

They're incredibly over-rated anyway. Looping a bar of 70s funk and sticking vocoders over it doesn't make them musical geniuses, contrary to what dance music press will tell you.
