i mean yea, sucks for sara that it seems there wasn't a bday thread for her... but maybe whoever made it had reasons for deleting it... someone else could've started a new one or whatever..... PLUS there was a bday thread in COR as well.... |
Of course, whoever starts a thread has the ability to delete the thread. Duh.
The birthday thread wasn't "about" the thread starter. No one who posted in the thread posted "for" the thread starter. As you can see, no one even knows who started the thread. No one knew, no one cared. The thread, the posts were for Sara.
In honesty, it was simply, clearly immature and inconsiderate to delete OUR posts wishing Sara a happy birthday. There is no acceptable excuse. If he's frustrated or pissed, he could have deleted his own idiotic threads in his own forum. They are more "about" him and "for" him.
And yes, I could have started a new thread. Sara's birthday was Saturday. I realized Sunday afternoon that the thread was gone. How did I know? I wanted my friend to see the beautiful post I made for her in her FL birthday thread. The most beautiful post ever, for sure!
Ummmm...where is it....hang on, I'll link you...hang on, it's got to be here somewhere....omg, Sara, it's gone!
So yeah, I could have spent another damn hour finding all of the right colors and typed up another beautiful SORRY THIS IS A DAY LATE BUT HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARA post. No.
Deleting the thread was a shitty thing to do. Period.
