I never said I knew everything. I never said techno is the best genre of music. There's tons of music that shits on techno when it comes to quality.

Yes, but then it's not the music itself that the dweebs who come here talk about. They don't realise their own bias, and go on and on about how this and that track is a ch00n, how it's beautifully produced and bullshit like that. Go to a club, fine, but leave your crap there.

for sure, we all need some raw oldskool, and mixing the oldskool sound with inovative methods and new ideas could be quite cool.. but i dont think thatll be the sound of 2005, im thinking more electro, like that sample i posted (im trying to be forward thinking, so im guna make more like that!) of course, one persons idea of inovation can vary dramatically from anothers, as can the way that their tastes evolve, maybe we will just see the electronic music scene grow more and more diverse rather than head in one direction, thats seems to have been the trend so far. i love all these new hybrid genres, there are infinate posibilities, and im sure that 2005 will present us with the pioneers that we need to open our minds up to these posibilities. fuck, it could go anywhere, who knows. my goal for this year is to be as influential as i can be in the ideas i come up with, we are at the stage in the evolution of electronic music where thats what we need more than anything.

yes but dude, who are you to say that thats all that matters? if it delivers the effect that the clubbers go to experience, then its doing its job. sitting at home with a pair or headphones on isnt exactly the most effective way of enjoying club music, and alot of the stuff you listen to probably wouldnt have as much of an effect as some of the stuff u totally burn. that makes it different, not better. if u wana sit on your ass and enjoy the music you like at home in your bedroom then fair enough, but thats not what its all about to alot of other people, so accept that and be a bit more friendly in your posts on here. you have no reason to be as sour as you are towards people.

so how would u know this? how do u know listening to music in a club removes the focus? btw you're completly wrong. A good tune is a good tune be in a club or not. tho some tunes that sound shit at home but only sound how they should on a huge system. the first one like that which springs to mind is Marco V - Automanual. untill uve heard that in a club u aint heard it. so basically ur a bit out ur depth mate and talking shite so i think if i was you id stop now before u make more of a twat out urself

If they enjoy club music, they should go to a club instead of sitting on their asses at home, listening to fucking ASOT.
