I completely agree, but several of my DJs have had their tracklist threads closed with barely any explanation just "read the new rules"
and they only posted the tracklist about 4 hours or so before the show... if you've got these new rules in place, may I suggest you come up with a definite number that you can publically post in the new rules/policies that says exactly how long before a show a tracklist is allowed to be posted? that will help cut down on the favoritism and personal vendettas against particular artists or stations
thanks !

We just want people to use their discretion, that's all. As much as people would like you to think how stupid they are, they really aren't. They know why things are being done the way they are, they just choose not to follow it.
Just use your discretion man.. I'm sure you guys know what advertisment is and what tracklistings are.
In response to what I just said "They know why things are being done the way they are, they just choose not to follow it.", this means that people know they can't / couldn't post threads in the MD, so they started to use this section as an alternative.
Before you couldn't post in the MD, this was used as just the tracklistings and the stream links. That's how we want it to be, the whole point is to not have this section turn into an MD.
