Yea Armin is really kind. I managed to get a handshake and his autograph which totally made my day. It was unbeleivable to see him live and in person...especially since I watched the video swamper posted of him only the day before....In the top 100 Dj list be placed 23rd, but in mine, he's second if not tied for first with my all time fav. Tiesto.
I saw that gorgeous girl too! (mid-riff TA shirt) I saw her w/ swamper+gf and figured she must be a frequent poster here so I told myself to remember to ask about her here if i didnt get to talk to her. Towards the end of the day I was leaning against one of the huge subs near coat check waiting for my friends and she passed by and gave me the sexiest smile....!! Now my legs were worn and all but i was standing, then she walks by and made my knees weak! I wanted to say something but by then she was lost in the crowd
For the guy that got her digits, I'd definately reconsider wether or not to dial them. hehe. Its all good, I had a hard time being loyal last nite, she just made it worse I survived tho!
I did get teased about the T-A nametags....some people shook their heads, some people though it was neat and then some actually pulled me aside to ask where the rest of the TAs were ....at the end of the day the sticker fell off to my dissapointment...i think its time to invest in a TA shirt.
This has been a crazy 2-3 months. Corsten, Tiesto, PVD and now Buuren. Wow...moving to canada was the best thing i did!

WHOA!
Like WHOA!
ALl right... after getting enough rest from that party (my best birthday party ever, too!), let me just say the Docks was one SICK place to be on this Saturday night!
The decorations by Sonic State crew were great, the lights/lasers were awesome, the crowd was great and Djs were just amazing (except for Ossia, I wasn't really impressed by him, I dunno why)!
I didn't meet many of you TA's last nite, except a guy from Brampton (Polish, wearing white "CK Jeans" top) and his buddy (Jay I think it was your name bro)... sorry bro, but I just can't remember your nick.
Maybe the reason why I didn't meet many of you was that I was dancing my ass off to Orkidea and AVB, and was mainly chilling with the rest of the "Slavs"...
Anyway, the track selection by Djs was superb, and hearing some of those songs I love so much live, in a club, with all of you great people around, was just overwhelming! And I got Armin to sign my ticket (he signed it "Armis", what a joker!), and I shook his hand...
...that man was just unbelieveable! He didn't let me rest with all the tunes he played, and I ended up taking a 15 minute break just cuz I was losing any feeling in my legs and I thought I was gonna collapse at one moment... I have never danced that much in my life!
Thanks and props go to Andre & Nick (I just met you guys a week ago, and you're already my heroes!) and the rest of the Sonic State crew, my SLAVS, and of course - DJs! Armin & Orkidea, thank you, thank you, thank you so much... what a beautiful birthday gift!
I just hope SS Crew is planning something even better for the next party...

HOLY SHIT-O!!!
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- WOW! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
From the minute i got in there, to the moment i got out, i was like, "WOW!". I got in later than 3am, but Orkidea was still spinning when me and my buddy entered...wikked set by Orkidea by the way...i have definately got to watch out for him next time.
The place looked really nice, an excellent job done by the Sonic State crew, i really liked the TA dancer on the 2 big screens out front.
I saw alot of TA's there, and this one girl with a rolled up TA t-shirt, who was hangin around some guy with spiked hair...i can see that she got alot of peoples attention, LOL!
NE wayz...Armin was 'furious' at the decks, his set was really good...no dull tracks, all uplifting stuff...That man kept the crowd moving all night looooooooooooong!! Although i didn't like the way he ended his set with that sudden stop...but the encore was great...
AVB's got a wikked passion for what he does, and that's what makes him great!
I enjoyed myself immensly, the music was great, the bass was pounding, and on that same day i had to be at work at 9:00 am for an 8hr shift! LOL! Now that's f*cked up!
Great night...got pics...will post them up soon...
Cheers.

Well i finally have enough energy to post about the party. I had a long day Saturday, as you can imagine being at the Docks helping the Sonic State crew decorate the place. The time i had was truely amazing, just being in a place where beautiful music, beautiful people, gorgeous decorations, and being around all my friends made my nite memorable. Spending 7 hours dressing the Docks up was so worth it; i think it created an atmosphere that truly captured the hearts of many. The centre stage working out perfectly, i think most people really appreciated it; it created an intimate interaction with the the DJs. The only reason the main room was extended all the way to the back at Wintergalactic was, we knew that it was gonna be rammed during Tiesto. Even then alot of people were crammed near the front. But for this party, there wasn't as many people to open up the whole area. This setup made it cozier don't you think? Everyone i spoke to had an amazing night. The night went quite smoothly and all the sets that i heard were off the hook. As much as i love Armin's music, i have to say my favourite set of the night had to be Orkidea's. His music is simply beautiful. I only wish i could see more of his performances.
I didn't get to meet any you tranceaddicts, since i had to run around the place, i had to do guestlist outside for a bit too. I only met one of you, Ruffryder(sp), nice seeing you. Hope you had a great time. The tranceaddict banner fell down?? hahah i didn't even notice. It looked good while it was up. Thanks to all my close friends that were there, i forget how i miss partying with all of you together. Being with friends that i hardly see anymore was an absolute delight. I thank you STATE for uniting so many people that i care about.
A final thanks to Nick & Andre, everyone in the Sonic State family, and decorating crew to a fabalous night. Until next time...god bless.
