Concept? That's a production car, already on the streets. The 2005 Ford GT.

ford GT

assembled - Wixom Assembly plant - SVT special vehicles building
production run - 1500 units

it makes me cream my pants every time i see one

ill post some pics when i get my scanner working but i spent a day at wixom assembly at the beginnign of hte summer when they were just starting the production runs, and i have a pic of me standing in front of a row of the first 20 built.

i have a 1964 ford pickup at my unlces farm that is still runing. and never breaks down. so yes american cars are dependable reliable and fast.

I dunno much about cars but i thought the bugatti veyron was the fastest car in the world now or hasnt it been released yet... cant imagine a car topping these stats

# A W-16 engine that can produce 1,001 horsepower
# A top speed of 250+ mph (400+ kph)
# A zero-to-60 time of three seconds
# A zero-to-180 time of 14 seconds
# A price tag somewhere in the $1 million range.

they still havent delivered any to the consumers. they had a problem with the aerodynamics, because its pretty unstable at those speeds. So they are testing models with a wing, but then that drops it below the speed record...so they arent actually finished yet.

colonelcrisp: i dont understand why the Enzo is now not a production car. Yes you have to have previously owned 2 ferrari's to get your hands on one, but that doesnt mean its not open to the general public. You can go get yourself two ferrari's and then buy one(used now).

i think we really do differ when it comes to what we think a production car. And as for the Mclaren, what do you say about its racing past...it used to compete against the Porsche 911 GT1, Mercedes CLK GTR, and the like...

haha...it only takes 600bhp to get up to 200+mph, but it takes 105,000hp to get up to 700+mph! stupid exponentially increasing drag! lol

VAG can't get the Veyron to work properly. I saw this on a British car website a few months back, it outlines the Veyron's problems perfectly.
