if it doesnt claim to be the source of life then you have nothing against creation being tough in school as the source of life since it is the only thing that could be the creator of life

because it certainly wasnt some meteor somewhere

if its teached alongside christianity I see no problem with it

Actually I wouldn't have a problem with creationism being taught in schools, perhaps in a religious studies or even a philosophy course.

But in the science classroom where we teach our kids to verify their findings with observed, testable, and falsifiable evidence, I'm afraid it would be highly erroneous to bring such an idea to the table.
