It seems like each time I turn on the TV there is another show about rich people and the lives they lead. Seeing these degenerates spend and spend, knowing that they have reached the point of perpetual wealth (meaning they can't go bankrupt, too much money compounding)and how clueless they are about how the world and life works. I believe the US is headed for 2 classes, 1 on the top and 1 on the bottom...no one in the middle.
Now I know why the Russian Czars' head was cut off. Wealth stays in certain circles and the rest of us have to fight for a smaller chunk of the pie.
I'm tired of paying taxes.
LMAO.....you are a sick sick person.

Ask yourself, do wealthy people have jobs? No. Why is that? Because they own businesses.
Are you implying that wealthy people don;t have jobs and only own their own businesses? and/or that wealthy people don't work as hard?

Yes I am sick, sick of paying an outrageous tax rate for my income bracket.
I am saying that inherited wealth or perpetual wealth ie: the top 1%, where a person can not possibly go bankrupt, is where the degenerates reside.
...and no, I don't believe that these "wealthy" people work as hard.
...and their only "job" is to retain their wealth ie: don't start a 200,000.00 per week coke habit.

So someone like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs didnt bust their ass to get where they are? Starting out in home garages?
They may not lay brick as a job...but the top 1% who did worl their way there deserve it...dont knock them because they have succeeded.

I do see your point. I actually met Bill in 1983 when he was marketing the AppleIIe...a very intelligent individual...ok you got me.
I think it's just the waste and the excess of the media hogs that I have a distaste for. Why are we entertained by seeing them as the dumbdumbs that they are, just look at the ratings. I don't think that envy is a good thing for the population.

I have actually read, in a few places, that Bill Gates used to sleep in his office for days at a time (an hour here and an hour there) just to get work done...lol
One thing you must always remember about TV and the types of shows you dont like...they are an escape from people's lives and problems. Take for example: a person who works all day loading and unloading trucks....he comes home at night, eats dinner and plops down in front of the couch to watch some TV...these shows are his escape...his time to watch other peoples lives and their problems.
Thats what those shows are for...an esape from your own mindnumbing life...a place where u can see other peoples problems and or glories and feel better about yourself in some fashion.
For me...i watch "Growing Up Gotti" because i like to relax and watch these peoples lives because their lives are so different from mine...and for a good half hour i escape.

Well, I guess if you like it, and have the time, watch it. I choose not to.
...gotta go do some work...and earn some money for the government.
