Sander's EM in 2001 was the first one after I got broadband internet, so it was the first EM I downloaded where I had no idea who the guy was. He completely thrashed me with that set and I haven't looked back to trance since.

Sander EM 2001, and a Timo Maas live performance--->Digweed GU19--->Satoshi Tomiie-Love in Traffic--->Deep Dish live performance.
Within 10 months I was a full out convert. And yes, Sander at Stereo was unreal, I don't know why the club didn't sign him to a second year's worth of residency, [maybe he doesn't quite fit the 'style' of the club?], but I consider myself extremely lucky to have caught him at such an amazing venue.
