nah, that wasnt my point.. i was saying try to be optimistic about it[as long as youre living here] instead of looking seeing how bad things are. international djs spinning in georgia was unheard of say 10 years ago.. i think eventually it will get better.. it will just take some time.

The djs that play at the Eleven50 range from Paul van Dyk, Deep Dish, Irene, Tiësto, Rap, to... well... hip hop, George Acosta, and whatever else they decide to splice in there.

+1

I'd rather have a club to attend that may be somewhat restricted than one club that has a good show once in a while.

A majority of Americans don't have good taste in a lot of things. Music is one of them.

i think what she meant was a good club with restrictions that has great shows all the time...versus a club where anything goes and a good dj once in a while...

My question is why in the hell it hasn't changed too much though what with the access one has to it. Why listen to some emo band that sings about bloody eyelashes when you can easily download a track that is meant to uplift you and get you moving? It's just grrrr-ish.

no - in fact, most shows are money losers.

only a few are actually money makers that sustain the other shows.

Because it's popular, and people like to be trend-whores to fit in with their friends.
