Not too bad a night.. tickets sold out early so place was packed to the rafters. The front of the dancefloor was basically a moshpit for most of the set which was fun for a few tracks until you ran out of air.

I think they put on a good performance but musically it wasn't fantastic.. very adhoc? IMO their sets at Big Day Out this year & Room last year flowed alot better.

I'm sure the prog-loving chin stroker clan will have more educated reviews

I thought Infusion rocked it, at least on par with their room set last year. They seemed to play with a bit more diversity this time rather than just banging out the 4/4 from start to finish (although there was plenty of that as well) and the band added a bit at times (the guitars during Girls Can Be Cruel were pretty cool imho). It was packed, like Kelsta said, so the atmosphere during the entire set was pretty amazing. Then, just to top off the night, Gav Keitel came on and proceded to drop every minimal-techy anthem released over the past 12 months, which was nice.

The real highlights of the night, though, were a certain member of TA going up to Jamie Stevens and hugging him on a dare and then fraternising with the colourful characters one finds along Fitzroy street at 5.30 am after we left Prince (wonder how our friend got along with that Bosnian girl in the end? ). But yeah, good to see some TAs there and I might see some of you at j00f tomorrow...

they were rockstars..

i was impressed with their skills, but their performance didnt really do much for me... However i liked Girls Can Be Cruel..

but it didnt amaze me.

i can tick them off in my book, but wont be racing around like a headless chicken to see them next time.

I was suprised locodice's phat dope shit [saeed remix] had such pulling power. people started pouring onto the floor after hearing that tribalistic bassline. Few tunes not to my liking followed though. i.e. that new remix of "the fruit", then some remix of gwen stefani's "stupid girl". A catering for the prince crowd perhaps.

infusion were good. all the typical tunes were played out. preferred this gig in comparison to last, due to the diversity. funny how it was promoted as a 5-piece band, where the 2 extra guitarists played (in my eyes) pretty redundant roles. they stood quite far back in the shadows, that i think few people even noticed them. gav keitel, certainly good at what he does, though he brought it out much harder then what i'd anticipated. he still mixes like a one armed ass bandit, but in a good way now. - superpitcher - happiness [michael mayer remix], nice.

what's up with this chin stroking rep we seem to be attaining?
mind you, i'll let you all know i can retarded monkey dance with the best of them.
