Could all of this be done online (sans the actual courses)? Plus, I hope to start at least by this September, but summer session would be better. I'm on summer break now, so what would be the steps I need to take?

Registration for next fall's semesters was done two months ago. You might still have a chance with late registrations (if the university you pick allows such a thing), but don't count on there being spaces left.

Vancouver and Montreal are two completely different cities and it's hard to directly compare them. Vancouver is a lot "newer", but lacks the historic background and character that Montreal has. The nightlife can't even be compared in the two cities; Montreal is just infinitely superior to Vancouver in every way when it comes to night life =P

That said, the beauty of Vancouver just can't be compared to Montreal. You have the ocean and the mountains there, with countless outdoor things you can do, and a much more favourable winter. The rain you hear so much about isn't nearly as bad as the stereotype indicates (and even if it were, I'd take it over -40 any day =P).

I love both cities, and ideally I wish I could live 6 months of the year in each =P

As for hottest girls, Montreal hands down. Vancouver comes close though, but it's a very different type. In Montreal, the women doll themselves up a lot more and wear a lot more designer type clothing. In Vancouver, you have a ton of really healthy girls but the style just isn't as advanced as in Montreal (though it's a bonus that none of them smoke =P).

Pretty much the FIRST thing guys from the UK I work with said when they moved to Montreal was "Holy shit, this city is filled with fucking hotties." Also, the girls in Montreal are a lot more approachable than the girls in Vancouver I find. It's not just the girls really, it's the attitude in general. In Montreal, people are probably more rude at the surface level (like, if they bump into you they won't apologize), but far more warm and friendly if you talk to them. In Vancouver, everyone is polite, but not nearly as "friendly".

It really is. I make it sound far more cut and dried then it actually is though. There are areas of concentration for individual ethnic groups but it isn't as though all members of a certain group live in a given area and do not stray from that. People are intersperced everywhere with certain areas having higher concentrations of certain groups. For instance, there is an area of Toronto called Greektown... the area has a high concentration of Greeks (the largest Greek population outside of Greece), however, you'll find people of every ethnicity there. This area also boarders on an area of town that is heavily populated by Indians which makes a very odd mix... for blocks you can walk down the street and the shops alternate from Greek signs to Hindi signs (along with English)... it's pretty cool.

Toronto actually has people from all ethnic sub-groups save for a few tribes from New Guinea living in it.

Care to elabourate on why 'no-one wants to go there'? I bet it's because they are the worst places around, but maybe it's for other reasons...
