Paradoxical has a connotation of two things that are in opposition to each other, whereas the diction means two things that cannot coexist as the existance of one precludes the existance of the other. Being responsible and out of control at the same time is certainly paradoxical in a connotative sense if not a dictional sense.

The bf was even worse… hahah a successful chiropractor (partner no less) in a mainstream clinic chain…one of those, “have you been injured” …yea he’s showed up to work w/ 40 bag to get him through the day because he’d been up all night doing yay.

the best was when we were at club space afterhours jacked on coke at 8 in the morning dancing our asses off last year on the day of his firm’s Christmas party (was later that evening) telling ourselves we’d be able to get a nap in and make it. HAHAHAH
