I think it has more to do with his peculiar behaviour.
Have you ever seen how he conducts himself when talking about Katie? He jumps around and does victory laps emphasizing and re-emphasizing how taken he is by her. Apparently Katie condcuts herself in the same manner. When Tom Cruise was on Oprah, he was getting down on one knee and pumping his fist, similar to what hockey players do after they score a goal.
Maybe it's because she's a virgin (or so he says). Is there anything in Scientology about being for or against premarital sex?
