If it takes a big sound system to appreciate this album, isn't that asking a bit to much of the listener? The purpose of this cd was to bring the feeling of his Fundacion nights to your home, but this shouldn't require you to have big, loud speakers and subwoofers.

The problem with this idea, is how could he possibly condense all of those long sets at each Fundacion night into one CD. Having gone to his last night in LA...I can say...it sounded NOTHING like this CD. And his set from the previous month sounded NOTHING like that. And so forth. When I went he played very slow, dark, deep, dirty progressive...mixing was insane. I have friends who tell me he has played sets like his Orlando Tsunami gig, and sets like his essential mix at Fundacion residencies...now...if you listen to those...they sound completely different.

And now having listened to the Fundacion album I can say that in my opinion it sounds very different than all of those.

Which is why I love it...and it is put together beautifully. People might go "well its a mix CD of course the transitions are gonna be great" Well those same transitions are what he gave us LIVE with Ableton at his residencies.

I will agree that the CD has its slow parts, but it grows on me...and like was mentioned...listen to this on some large speakers and the bass will kill you.

im missing the whole bass on big speakers thing? why should you need a system to hear the bass? That is poor mastering on their part. could also just be the promo version...

I definately like electro-house...

CD was just kinda boring, I'll listen to it a few more times and see if I get into it.

I guess I'm sucker for his old CDs, Ibiza, San Fransisco, Northern Exposure...I was never a huge fan of involver either.

Maybe it will grow on me.

As much as I like Sasha's style lately, I just can't get into this CD.
Had it on repeat for a couple of times, but it just didn't do nothing to me, and if I compare this CD to, em, his live set in Orlando, FL..it just...em....sucks

Someone should give Sasha a slap and say 'Enough of this emo-house music already!' I really miss those prog sets of old of his!

I still have yet to get this cd. From what some of you said it sounds very good, from what I could tell from the sampler it sounded good.

i guess you either love it or you dont..the transitions are amazing, my favorites being
Adam Johnson - Four Squares to Swayzak - Another Way (Richard Davies Mix) to Beanfield - Tides feat. Bajka (C’s Movement #1) (Carl Craig Remix)

Freaky Chakra - Blacklight Fantasy to Goldfrapp - Strict Machine (We Are Glitter Mix)

i like Fundacion much more than involver.. i like the flow in this one much more..

I just saw sasha and im sure he played most of the songs off his new cd at his show. I really liked the song selection and the darkness of his new style. To the person who commented about how you missed the old proggy sets of his, you dont consider this style proggish?
