YEah...my ex was in Sauga while I was in Scarborough. It was the biggest pain in the ass driving back and forth...lost so many hours on the road that we had to control how much we saw each other (i.e. qualifying it as long distance)...

Im not sure, I suppose it is somewhat relative, depending on where you live and what you are used to.

The one I'm talking about is btween Collingwood and Barrie, about 45 minute drive.

When you have busy schedules, a 45 min drive can be alot. It's not like I get down to Barrie hardly even once a month... or if I did, it would mean that I'd end up going to Toronto a hell of a alot less.

Some close friends did that, with another couple, and it was great for a little while, BUT eventally all sorts of weirdness got involved (long story for another time..) and that relationship did a serious "crash and burn", with some therapy involved.
