whereever i go i take a cd of Veracocha - Carte Blanche with me i know and my ears know how it sounds at home so when i get to the studio ill put the eqs on the computer channel to how it would sound at home.

With that i can take any piece of music and mix it on any system within reason and itll sound good on all systems.

good for you, unfortunately i can't on my system cus it sucks belony.. the fact that im running on a 1400+ with 380 something mb of SD(!)ram doesnt help either, that clip was lagging like hell, try mastering then :P tomorrow everythings gonna be better when i put in a p4 3,2 prescott and 1025 ddr yay...

anywayz, i havent flamed his looks or anything, some guy said he was fat, i said he wasnt, but he was ugly, but it hadnt anything to do with his skills which i find to be under the 'normal' of what other producers can manage to crank out of their systems.. i mean listen to Venus, on the one side you have this remix that sounds full, and it has power, on the other side you find a version (original) with a poor beat, a kick drum that sounds like a bad version of the C_kick from fruity 2.5, the bassline has no power at all, and the leads are really lacking that euphoric feel tiesto manages to do with the same melody..

Im not saying he cant make nice melodies, its just his production skills that are below par...

if i were to send out something with the same production quality, noone wouldve signed it.
