Does anyone want to pool some money together and buy out the Avalon space? We, as club goers, know what we want in a club, we know what crowds we want, we know what DJ's we want.

i'd have the bouncers quiz the people about the headliner upon entering... rotate 20 questions so that the people behind don't overhear. they wouldn't be so hard so that you'll find no one there.... but it'll at least guarantee that the people there have at least some interest in the music

If I took over that club, Id be busting my ass to book DJ's that rarely ever play in the states, i.e. Lucien Foort or people that dont ever leave a certain city, i.e. Ivano Bellini.

Could you even come up with 20 questions for those 2 DJ's?

i spoke to my friend who works at avalon and she said the rumor is true.

scot project is spinning there the 23rd, 1 day before it closes..
ironic how he did the closing saturday before limelight closed down and now is doing this one
