most clubs DO have some sort of ventilation and also CENTRAL AC to some extent but can u imagine the cost and amt of BTUs that AC unit would need to operate just for that space? im sure it would break down QUITE easily. also, with the amount of bodies inside a club, obviously its going to end up stuffy as hell. there were times when i was absolutely *freezing* inside spirit. its just NOT consistent though

Not to argue or anything but if they are using a central air system it's most likely not the kind of AC you know of. Alot of modern places, hospitals, office buildings and all use a liquid cooling system. My father works in this field. This is alot cheaper for large areas since it saves money on electricity and frion (sp).

they need to just spray people w/fire hoses when the beat drops

Guaruntee my ass, try PVD @ Roxy Feb 2003. 3 Hours in freezing Feb rain, 800 ppl w/ tix in hand could not get in due to fire marshall calling capacity. PVD refunded out tix $ and apologized, I don't hold it against him, it was not his fault, but that was a very long pissed off drive back to philly...
