I like the tone this thread took was taking in the last few posts, especially refuge's post. I've been reading this for a while as a lot of others have, but I didn't have anything to really add or support. A lot us us seem to feel rather self important on TA and I'd like to avoid that.
In support of Refuge's post, I have gotten to know Leon a bit more through Heaven and outside of Heaven as we had mutual friends in common, and I can say that anything he has done that may be construed as negative, improper, or unprofessional, etc was not done maliciously or intentionally. He's just a guy trying to do his best. Maybe some could do better in certain situations, but Leon is doing this on a consitent basis. That takes commitment.
I doubt that he's actually angry, but he may be a little hurt that there is so much criticism of soemthing that should be for fun while hopefully not going in ruin.
Clovis, I don't know you, so I have nothing against you. Most of us here all have EDM music in common. Some people say you are a decent guy, and you probably are. You've made your point very well. You are NOT happy about your "copyrighted pictures" being posted on the Heaven website. Heaven has been rather slow in removing them. You are right, but keeping things in perspective, it's not like your mother was raped or that you'd actually could have easily sold them. I like the pictures you took. They are good. Heaven could have acknowledged you, but there are plenty of people that are ready to take pictures. Not many Leon's around doing what he's doing. I want to do it, but I haven't had the nuts yet to do it. If Leon could have tecnhically done it himself, he, he probably would have already. He probably has to rely on somebody, else and maybe they're slow to getting around to it. You can criticize and say that's unprofessional, but this is not a major corporation. So you've made your point; give it some more time, and see what happens. Maybe the pictures will be removed, or maybe they won't, but for those of us that care, we can easily find out. If you keep complaining in the same thread about it, you'll start looking bad, even if you were right.
Also, keep in mind that those that may seem be your friends, aren't always the best of friends, and those that you considered your enemies can turn out to be the best of friends. It's that little bird in the shit story.
