Jackie chan just does comic flics because it makes more money as its what people whant and expect from him. His old films (Drunken Master) was just quality.
However, Yes. Bruce Lee is THE legend! RIP.
Also, look out for a new guy, i cant remember his name but he was the lead character in the newish film Ong-Bak. That film was shot with no wires, trick photography or stunt doubles. So this guy was literally running across peoples shoulders. |
I can't be arsed to check out the whole freakin tthread, but this is what i say about that (and this and that and how that became this and those became them, >_>)
He trained many different styles. I've seen him fight close combat fighting as well, which isn't the style that you see in his movies.
Jeet Kun Do is about hitting at the right moment, which is probably what you see in his movies too.
He did Kyokushin/Kyokushinkai , kick boxing, wushu, wing chun (which is my style, my master is Simon Lau, and he was Bruce Lee's best friend) etc etc.
If Bruce Lee lived today he'd be like 63 years old or something.
Whatsoever, it's a shame that he had to taste the fuggin'ess of racial prejudice. Aw I hate that.
But, as said, Rest in peace, oh almighty warrior of the Shaolin order
