I disagree with this. Due to the fact that we as a human race were not as advanced as we are now it would be easier to make mind blowing discoveries back then than it is now. You can still make discoveries now that are revolutionary but it has to be alot more esoteric because most of the basic building blocks of these discoveries have been theorized.

both are geniuses, the measurement of genius is subjective. it's like trying to pit stephen hawking versus picasso. How do you measure it?

yep...there's a very thin line between genius and insanity!

Regardless of whose smarter, they both made large contributions to society.

Don't forget, Einstein did ALOT more than the theory of relativity. In fact, you should be thanking Einstein for your broadband! (75% sure on this )

was going to be my post. Alot of the stuff that Brown puts in his books is nonsense. However, Da Vinci himself was a great man but the push that Einstein gave to science in his years is amazing.

Nikola Tesla at Wikipedia

Something that got my attention about Tesla was his "Death Ray", or Directed-energy weapon . Some potentially scary shit was coming out of this guys mind.

it's a non linear scale punisher. i don't think that you can warrent da vinci being smarter than einstein just because he accomplished more.

it would be just like saying that some football star from like 40 years ago would still be good today. i bet that if oyu took that football star from 40 years ago and threw him into a game today, he wouldn't hold a candle to those players. it's a completly different game. all the variables, like the advances in health and fitness, body training and athletics.

i just don't think that you can compare the two minds, they don't really have a common ground, or, rather, background.
