The only point you'll be proving is that public polls can be rigged by large organised groups - and I don't think anyone's debating that anyways. If you wanted to prove that any unknown bedroom DJ could get into the top 100, then mickey would have to get there by himself for your point to be valid.

I have two emails so I voted twice. One for my actual list and the other for the TA peeps. More than likely what is happening is that there are people sitting around forums like this organizing people together to create new hotmail/yahoo accounts so that they can vote for their DJ that the site is about like www.tiestoroxmesoxs.com or www.arminvanbowdowntome.com

I could care less if people vote for "popular DJs" but I hate the format because it is possible to cheat. People dont put much stock in popular vote contests when it comes to popular music, movies, and television. Thus people shouldn't with DJ popularity contests. Until there is a group of informed individuals that know things about the industry or the DJs themselves vote for a list then I could care less about this list.

the thing thats funny is the point you are trying to prove is so fucking blindingly obvious... your going "the more people who vote for him the higher he will get in the dj mag poll"... well done genius's thats the whole god damn point. I think it's quite funny this whole idea and I think it'll be funny to see where he ends up but to be honest you lot are making such a big deal about it and trying to justify it in every way you can. the whole point is to see who is the most popular dj out there (ie who gets more votes) it doesnt matter who votes for who, unless people are putting guns to peoples heads saying "vote for me", or voting for people like bill gates as a joke, the dj mag poll is an accurate representation of a dj's popularity. this by no means means that the djs with most votes are better, but more people have heard of them, they have had more success or more money spent on promoting the shit out of them.. but so what? why do you all care so much? get over it!
