yes .. new orleans is just mardi gras ... there is nothing here exciting here other than mardi gras and booze .. really ... ... that is why i want to stay away from new orleans .. i guess you can say i am not a booze type of guy (however, pass me a joint and i'll say 'where's the light ?' ) ... hahhahahahhaa ...

unless you are a historical buff or love the boat ports scenes of the mississippi river, then you can enjoy that about new orleans .. other than that, nothing else much exciting except the low levels ... hhahahaha

i see in today's world, there are two types of rednecks .. educated ones and the uneducated ones ... the educated ones are the ones that know how to look forward in life, and have the knowledge how to prosper in life .. i still hate their thoughts and background, but i still like their way of life of being prosperous ....

I was certainly impressed by the wonderful festive nature of the people when I visited two years ago to see Tiesticles (the last time I ever paid to see him).

I'm really not sure how Texas is all that different from Louisiana, and certainly there is no dearth of rednecks, but if you are happy that's all that matters.
