There is no such thing as a perfect male. Those who are good-looking and smart will often have health problems. Those who have no health problems and are good-looking will often be without jobs or money. Think about every successful guy you've known. I would bet some of them were dumb academically; or, wore glasses because of bad eyesight; or had thinning hair, due to bad hair genes (and hair is very important for women BTW); or, had dyslexia, an abnormal condition.

My point? Everything in life is balanced, and women have to compromise. There are even books written on how women compromise. We all have weak spots but nature has endowed every guy with something to compensate for them.

Trust me man, I've read a lot more books than you on evolutionary psychology and mating behaviors, so I'm prepared to hold my own

BTW: What about people who are successful in some cultures but not others? Say, in Europe, but not in America?

Every successful guy I know is good-looking and smart. They are my friends. When we go out, we go to the "cream of the crop" places becasue thats where hot, smart girls go.
1) By the very nature of someone being the "the fittest", they have less health problems than someone who is not the fittest.
2) By the very nature of someone being the fittest, they will have jobs and money.
3) A smart person will not be bad accademically.
POINTS 1 to 3 ARE BASED ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT NOTHING WEIRD OR TRAGIC HAPPENS TO THESE PEOPLE, LIKE GETTING IN A CAR ACCIDENT OR BEING STUCK WITH A CONTAMINATED NEEDLE. ITS A MATTER OF PERCENTAGES. THE FITTEST HAVE A BETTER CHANCE (STATISTICLY) OF BEING SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE, WITH THE ASSUMPTION THAT A RANDOM BAD OCCURENCE DOESN'T TAKE PLACE.

4) what the hell are you talking about? If they have bad hair genes then they won't be good-looking to begin with! If they have good genes which is what I am talking about in the 1st place, Then they will be smart and good-looking. Since bad hair is considered unattractive in our culture, then that person won't be considered good-looking.

Sounds like I hit a nerve.
Please learn how to have a calm, scientific debate, with no emotions.

Women don't like guys who are quick to get angry

I don't know your friends and I'd have to see them to get more data. But if you can't admit that everyone, and I mean everyone, has some kind of cross to bear, then we don't share the same assumptions about the world, and debate would be kind of difficult.

BTW, "having good genes" does not mean that the entire body is 100% perfect. People still have bad eyes or hearing problems or allergies or diabetes even if they're tall and athletic and symmetric. People have anxiety issues or bad teeth or social problems or breathing difficulties or... the list is endless.

One thing I DO know is that the #1 priority for all women is, and always has been, Honesty. If your friends are good-looking and smart but lie to girls, they will be quickly dismissed by most women as playboys and users, an automatic turnoff.

^^^I thought the number one thing girls look for is security. By security I mean money and if someone has money than that person has security and that is what all girls look for. I am sorry HTP I think you are wrong and Gmoney obviously is wrong as well but he has a clue.

You say I am obviously wrong but what exactly am I wrong about?
The whole point I have been trying to make is that girls want security (money). People with good genes have the best chance of making money.
I will no longer respond to HTP's inane ramblings as they irritate me.

^Yes insane ramblings often happen in this forum. AS everyone has an opinion they strongly believe and they will defend it with every last bone and muscle they have.

Don't feel bad. Every now and than you will find a TA member who will call you every word possible some do it intellectualy, TX, and some just are no good at it, myself. For when I get upset I swear many times and that is no good.

So you were trying to say that people with good "genes" make more money? Have you ever heard that people who get Cs while in collage do better at a position such as being CEO. HAve you heard of that? What do you believe about that?

Gmoney something serioulsy you need to do is relax. Not everyone with good "genes" makes a lot of money. If you wish to convince me otherwise post a pic of yourself and your friends.

Dude, Gmoney. I go to a school of the best and brightest in the U.S. The girls are terrible, looking that is. I go against what you are saying that hot people are smart. In fact, I have argued the opposite. The smarter the people I am around the less attractive they are. Of course, they also have far better personalities so at least they have that going, which is nice. Also, yes girls want money, but obviously that is a specific girl you are talking about. In fact, these girls' motivations are helpful to you, just as are the shallow men that posses these trophies.

I can't take this anymore. Have you read anything I have posted or are you really that moronic ? Where did I say that hot people are smart? I said hot smart people have the best chance of being successful. As a homework project for you, I would like you to find where I said that hot people are smart. If you accomplish this task, I will paypal you 20 dollars.

But Gmoney, Im saying that your assesment is completely wrong. I would say most successful people aren't good looking. You say 'Every succesful guy I know is good-looking and smart.' Well at my stage in life (College) if I were to measure success by the caliber of school you attended, then I would say people, guys and girls, are relatively unattractive. Your next statement that I am arguing against is that 'hot, smart girls go to cream of the crop places.' This I hold not to be true, as why do girls go to these places? To find a guy. Now, why would a girl go to a place where there are successful men, because the first on their priority list is money. Now, why would a hot, smart girl have money as their number on priority when finding a guy? Afterall, you argued hot, smart people have the best chance of being successful. Therefore, couldn't they find their own success, and then find a man that they can have a meaningful relationship with?

I think all you people arguing with gmoney need to realize that his first proposition was that "fit" people get laid and "unfit" people do not and should not; ala "Survival of the Fittest". Whether or not his definition of "fit" is the same as your definition of "fit" is completely a matter of opinion and utterly worthless to argue over.
Please do not respond with evolutionary psychology b.s. you're just deluding yourself
Oh and the person who said "when did you take psychology 101" should "stfu" as any 100 level courses are not worthy of basing entire viewpoints and/or life knowledge off of.
