I've been partying for 6 years... almost every week.. I'd say first off it depends on what you take. For ecstasy it's easier to get rest and sleep, speed is a bit harder.

5-HTP is what everyone said it is... it helps any recovery period that some people suffer after partying.

I'd say after partying, shower, have sex, drink lots of liquids, orange juice and vitamin C is good for you, take a couple multi-vitamins, pop a couple 5-HTP and do your best to sleep... a beer or two can help your come down too.

If you don't take any speed, eating is a good idea too.

i think the people that choose to take drugs are still huge edm fans, it just enhances the experience, and makes it possible to stay awake through the entire thing. if you're at an afterhours club, it's the perfect setting (lights/awesome stereo/people) for one that is on some sort of drug. but it shouldn't be necessary to enjoy the music. that's why if you're sitting at home and can't enjoy the music without being on something, then you're not a true edm fan, imo
