It sure would answer a lot. It means the fans cant evolve with Armins taste. Meaning the obvious answer is... they are living in the past! OH EM GEE!!! We got some really smart people on these here forums. Hyuck!

Does it really mean fans cant evolve with armins taste? where did you get that from?

I want to know why so many fans havent evolved with "trance".

I bet you are going to get his opinion on the matter if you ask him. So, I would guess he would answer with something like what I said above. And to be honest, I think the majority have evolved with trance. I would only say that since every time I club its a packed house, especially if someone like Armin is there. Just the "know it alls" here who think otherwise.

True. the trance fans i most hear from are on this board and quite a few are very "old school"

I suppose a better question would be:

Why do you think trance has evolved the way it has and first of all are you happy with its evolution and second, what do you think progressive trance means, as thats how some of your sets/tunes have been recently labeled and why do you think they were labeled that way?

I hate the word progressive.

the music just progresses and progresses, but it never gets anywhere.

And that is kinda weird because when he was here in NYC last, he played a lot of tech stuff. Started out with the prog/trance but then it ended very tech.

I havent seen armin for about a year..

was how Ferry was when i saw him a couple months ago..

Started off with some very forgettable progish more melodic type stuff, then finally played some harder techier shit, then ended the nights with his hits and some classics..

here are some questions

How was it working with Olav Basoski and how much impact did he have on your work?

What was going through your heard when cyber records put Blue Fear on the a-side for your first trance ep and do you still consider "X Marks The Spot" is the better track on that ep?

How was it working with Johan Cyber and how much impact did he have on your work?

Was it a burdon being more or less the sole person pushing Melodic Trance during 2001 during the massive progwave at the time?

What was your opinion about the ASOT backlash in 2003 when your first fanbase started deserting you?

Why couldn't you stand up for yourself and refuse playing tracks when labels was clearly pushing you to play certain sub-standard tracks?

Do you feel that people are constantly kissing your ass because of your position in business?

You've had many hits and big anthems and has a generally big discography, in both original productions (by yourself and with others) and have done quite alot of remixes. What do you consider to be the best of your more lessknown works?
